June 2019 sets a landmark for Lemorau with the installation of an MEBR+ with the biggest and versatile configuration so far. The machine went to Adhesivos Orcajada in Spain.
Adhesivos Orcajada, chose Lemorau to create a customized machine.
Established in 1995, Adhesivos Orcajada, is a family based company, with a solid growth throughout the Spanish and European market. Its focus is the excellence of the final product as well as the safety of the environment, producing only biodegradable and ecologically sustainable labels.
It took six months to develop Lemorau’s biggest project today, the MEBR+ 430, or the ‘big baby’ as the company calls it.
The machine is full servo drive equipped and the three flexo stations allow the customer print on the back, varnish and cold foil in a single pass.
The machine has a maximum rotary speed 120 m/min and maximum semi-rotary speed 80 m/min. It is a maximum unwinder diameter 800mm, servo driven, with automatic stop at master roll end. The machine has a splice table with pneumatic clamps, corona treatment system, and electronic web guide system with ultrasonic sensor which enables guiding of opaque and clear materials. There are three servo drive gearless UV flexo stations in register customized according to existing tools from the customer and two movable cold foil/ UV lamination stations. A turnbar which allows printing on the back on the first flexo station and two die cutting stations in register customized according to existing tools from the customer.
The first die cutting station is a semi-rotary/rotary die cut, with pressure gauges and an E-Diffsystem from Tecnocut. The second eie cutting station is rotary only with movable anvil roller to allow die cut in front and in the back in one single pass.
The machine also has a one meter waste rewinder, back scorer system and electronic counter (labels/meters/rolls) A maximum rewinder diameter 800mm is servo driven and deflation software is used with rotary flexible dies on the semi-rotary die cutting. The machine also has automatic web tension control system by servo motors for constant and taper tension.
